Snowboarding Weekend

G’day Sports Fans! I know this post is a tad late, but I didn’t have an internet connection in Kosciuszko National Park. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know I was with mates in the Snowy Mountains for a bit of snowboarding action over the weekend. We took on both Thredbo and Perisher over the course of two days.

G’day Everyone! As you may have guess from my social media, I spent the weekend out at Sydney Motorsport Park for Round 5 of the Shannons Nationals. It was another great event put together by the Shannons Nationals crew. The feature race of the weekend was the Australian 4 Hour part of the Australian Manufacturers Championship. There was also plenty of on track action from the Radical’s, Sports…

Norah Head Whale Watching

Norah Head Whale Watching

G’day Everyone! Carrying on from yesterdays failed attempt to see the whales migrating (check out yesterdays blog post), I was informed that there were several whales could be seen along the coast line about lunch time. So I jumped in my car and drove up to Norah Head Light House to try to get in front of them to see I could grab a few shots.  (more…)

Terrigal Sunrise

G’day Everyone! Well it was any early start for me this morning. I’d been hearing from a few people that there had been some amazing sunrises and a pod of whales that had been hanging around Terrigal the previous few mornings so I thought get up early and head on out to Terrigal and see how lucky I was.

CCOMTB Downhill – June 2014

G’day Sports Fans! It’s been a little while since I covered some Mountain Biking action, so since I had the day off I trundled out to the mountains to check out the latest round of the CCOMTB Downhill. There wasn’t as many competitors as I though there might be, but we had a clear winters day which made for some great photos.

I also took the opportunity to grab a bit of video, check out the quick…

The Bucket List

G’day! Today I have something a bit different for me in terms of content for my blog (I say today, but the truth is this post has been in the pipeline for months!). I’ve said it repeatedly and I’ll say it again, that I’m not a writer, but I thought what I would do is compile some of my dreams/ambitions into a “Bucket List” and throw it out to the wilds of the internet see if we can make this…

Sydney Vivid 2014

G’day Faithful Followers! This weekend I took the opportunity to head on down to Sydney for the Vivid Festival. I was hoping to get down to Vivid a couple of times this year, but just wasn’t practical. So I braved the Saturday night crowds and tried to see as much of Vivid as possible in one night, seeing all of it in one night is impossible.

As well as taking photos, I tried a couple of new…

Somersby Falls, Central Coast, NSW, Australia

Somersby Falls, Central Coast, NSW, Australia

G’day Faithful Followers! I took the opportunity over the weekend to head out to Somersby Falls, on the NSW Central Coast, to do a bit of exploring. I thought after the recent rain that the waterfalls would have plenty of water and be flowing really well.

However I didn’t take into account that it was school holidays and a long weekend and that everyone else had the same idea. It worked out…
